Potential recruitment flags (from a non-target)
Im currently a rising junior doing accounting/finance at a non target and will be recruiting for accounting/consulting/financial services very soon (have already applied to some places).
I have very good involvements, a 3.5 GPA, and have built up a very extensive resume + network, but there are 2 problems im currently facing:
- in my fall semester of my sophomore year, i failed my first accounting class (which wasnt due to a lack of effort, just personal shit that got in the way)
- got convicted of reckless driving by speed (long story but this was a horrible mistake i made) in january of this year when i was a sophomore still
really worried about these two things and i think about them often, especially now that recruitment for firms is beginning. any advice?
