Pragma Securities
I have an interview from a firm called Pragma Securities located in midtown Manhattan and was wondering what others thought about this firm? They're a broker dealer who sells algo's to buy/sell side firms. I was hired into a technology role however, my long term goal is to become a quant and thought joining a firm like this that hires mostly quants and software devs to work on algo's may give me an edge in 3-4 years and be able to join a prop shop as a quant/trader. Any thoughts?

Do you guys/girls know anything about Pragma Securities? I know they are a fin. services firm that provides algo trading solutions to their clients. How does this compare to, say an algo trading grp at a BB, from the perspective of an IT guy looking to get into the hf-trading space.
On a side note, what are the opportunities like algo/hf-trading in Asian fin. centers like Hong Kong or Shanghai?
