Job Description:
Independent systematic trading company is seeking developers to work on its platform and trading software. The candidates will be expected to design, implement, and maintain server software primarily in a Linux environment. An entrepreneurial mindset and experience with leadership and project management is a significant plus.
The company is partnering with an established player in the trading space and is composed of principals with 15+ years of trading experience and sterling track records. Company will be based in Charleston, SC. For the right candidate, this is a unique opportunity with exceptional upside.
Job Requirements: · C++ experience a must · Linux or Unix programming experience · Windows programming experience · TCP/IP network programming experience · Standard Template Library · Object Oriented Design/Programming · Leadership and project management skills · Knowledge of Equity Trading and associated protocols is a significant plus · Experience working on Real-Time Distributed Systems is a significant plus · Database expertise and experience is a plus · Excellent oral and written commutation skills · Versatility and willingness to play several roles on a small team · Relocation to Charleston, SC (other options considered). A range of experience levels will be considered for this position; however, a minimum of 5 years of development experience is required.
