Putting "Sheep herding" in my interest section of my resume
Hey guys! I know these days you really need to standout among the crowd and be unique. With that said I was wondering if putting "Sheep Herding" in my interests line is a good idea and would benefit me in anyway by giving a chuckle to the people hiring for IB roles. Honest thoughts on this? I actually do this because back home I live on a farm (very fun actually).
2 Goldman CEOs grew up on farms. Go for it.
Nothing wrong with that, it obviously is a bit odd but if I see that on a CV I'll have a chuckle and definitely ask you about it which is a plus.
If you grew up on a farm, I'd bet you have far more eye catching things than "sheep herding" to put on.
One of the most interesting candidates I ever interviewed worked at a zoo part time during school.
if you are passionate about it than sure put it.
Put down that you're a farmer in your spare time. More impressive and expressive. "Manage ### acre farm and livestock etc..."
