PwC data analytics vs commercial banking

Hi,

I'll try to keep this relatively short. I have been offered a data analytics in assurance role at PwC. It is a tech role but in the assurance line of service but I don't complete the ACA. I also have an assessment centre for HSBC commercial banking graduate scheme. So, I'm trying to decide which role I would prefer should I get the offer from HSBC. I recognise that neither role will be a path into IB so my plan would be to stay in the respective areas. My main concern with the PwC role is whether or not I can have the same internal progression as, say, an audit grad because I don't do the professional qualification (i.e. can I still make director/partner?). Furthermore, I wondered if people had any insight on how the salaries would compare in the long term for commercial banking at HSBC or data analytics at PwC. So as somebody who wants to have a career with good prospects but not crazy stressful work/hours, which role would you recommend?

Thanks in advance.
