PWM to IB?
I recently got a PWM analyst position at a BB. Although I am very excited for this position ideally I want to end up in IB or FI trading by the end of graduation. This internship will be during the summer of my second year at university. I come from a non-target and my grades are slightly below average because of one bad semester but I am expected to pull the GPA up to a 3.5 by the end of this semester if all goes well.
1) Is it really possible to switch from PWM to IB?
2) Is there any advice on trying to switch over from a PWM analyst to IB or besides networking like a mad man?
Any advice helps!
