Quant at Bank vs Commodity house

Hi, I work as a quant in fixed income for a large bank and I'm expecting an offer for a similar job at a commodity trading (gas and renewables primarily) house. I never worked at a firm like this and I don't have anybody in my network who can give an objective assessment and pros/cons regarding the two types of firms, hence I'm reaching out. Can anybody who's been at both sides of the spectrum share some details, regarding work-life balance, compensation, career progression (especially if possible to move to a risk-taking position) ?

Thanks
