Question about a Recent Call
Hey All,
Just a quick question-looking for some advice. I was called out of nowhere last friday by a guy from a bank in LA (i’m east coast) about a job i applied for there. He asked me a few basic questions and then said that he would want me to come out for an interview and that i would need to pay for travel (which is fine). I obviously said yes and we said our goodbyes. Now a couple days later, I am wondering what the next step should be. He said that flght stuff which makes me think that they want to move forward with this, but I was at a bar (three hour time difference, 8pm here) when he called and I’m worried that I sounded disinterested or something (i dont think i did). When he talked about the flight I said yes but also said that I would need some level of warning beforehand, just to get stuff in order. I have his number but not an email address. Should I call at some point just to check in and reiterate interest? Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks.
In the current job market there is no reason why they shouldn't be flying you out there.
yeah i agree. its not the end of the world but obv not stoked about it. hopefully its worth it
