Question about Citi SA Positions

I'm trying to apply for a Citi 2017 SA position in Investment Banking. I'm browsing their website right now and there are two options:

Investment Banking, Summer Analyst (North America)
Investment Banking Financial Institutions Group (North America)

What is the difference between the two? Which one is more popular?

Hey, from my understanding the former is a generalist pool (i.e. sector agnostic) whereas the latter deals with corporate finance within financial institutions (i.e. banks, insurance, asset managers, private equity, or probably fintech companies). The generalist intake is larger than the FIG team. So by popularity if you mean by # of applicants, the former one would be more popular
