Question regarding transcript and finance jobs.

Im a rising junior at at top 25 college majoring in econ and minoring in stats. My gpa as of right now is lackluster (2.7-2.9) and i know that it must rise, however thats not my concern. Ive taken intro accounting twice and have managed to get D's both times. This goes along with the theme of poor performance my 1st 2 years. My question is whether how my accounting grades on my transcript will hamper my ability to get a finance job or not. I can also retake a 3rd time and see what happens. Do recruiters look at transcripts or simply see you didn't lie about gpa?
