Quick Question- what does this mean?
So recently I've had contact with a Sr MD at a firm I'm really interested in joining and I noticed a job posting on the company's career site. I sent my contact and e-mail informing her that I was going to apply for the position and wanted to know if she had any insight or advice on the recruitment process before I submitted my application. Her response was as follows:
"You can send me a copy of your submission and I will send it to the business as well as you reaching out directly"
So...what does that exactly mean? I'm not sure how to send her a copy of my application and I dont want to ask at the expense of looking like a dolt. How would I go about getting her a copy of my application- which will be submitted online? My only guess would be through using her name as a referral on the application but I don't want to do that without her explicit consent.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Send her a copy of the job posting you applied to and a copy of your resume. Also explain to her why you applied to that job.
She already has a copy of my resume - she asked for it roughly a week and a half ago after we first spoke. Does this change anything?
