Rant: Recruiting

This is the 2nd time I've gone through a lateral process which involves a modeling test as the final step and both times HR has just suddenly gone silent on me. It's just incredibly frustrating to go through this whole process and not at least get feedback. I mean, is it that hard to freaking inform candidates if they're dinged or not? Curious to see if a lot of you folks have been experiencing this as well.

P.S. I've reviewed both models submitted (take home exams) and I don't think it's a quality issue (assuming I got dinged given the silent treatment). They were both pretty straight forward and simple tests which makes it even more frustrating as to why you can't just inform me of my status.
