Reaching out to interviewer prior to interview?

Hey guys,

So I have a final round interview coming up and it's a phone interview. They gave me the name of my interview and it turns out I had previously met her at a networking event about a year and a half ago. Should I email her saying I look forward to speaking with her again? Or could that be embarrassing if she does not remember me?

Thoughts?

Thanks.

that is good news for you. just save it for the interview; you will build great rapport with her after you mention that you guys have met. reaching out to her beforehand probably won't help much and will make you look like you're trying to game her.

maybe dont mention it and see if she says anything first? they meet tons of people at networking events and probably won't remember, even if you made a great impression.

also - how is your final round a phone interview? wouldnt they want to meet you face to face first
