Continue reaching out to alumni but don't randomly approach people walking around the financial district and ask for their story (wtf). Try going to networking events instead. You should look at post-grad internships and contract positions to get something relavant on your resume. And what's non-target? Cal State or a UC? Make sure you have a story to explain your low GPA since it'll definitely come up in interviews due to being a recent grad and not having much work experience.
