Received an email from HR...

I had a discussion with a MD week ago, and said he would forward my resume onto the HR department. I recently got an email from HR asking to schedule a time to discuss opportunities within their company... Would this be considered an interview? What kind of questions can I expect from this? Fit/personality? I can't imagine HR calling just to let me know of particular open positions in the company and then tell me apply. Thanks

When I spoke to MD about the application process, he informed me they first do several case study interviews over the phone before bringing you in.

It is a full blown interview. Prepare accordingly.

And this is a message to anyone applying to ANY job, when someone from the company says they want to speak with you, assume it is the interview and be prepared.
