Received full time verbal offer

Hey guys. So I just finished my SA stint as an incoming senior at a boutique. They really liked me and told me that they wanted me to keep in touch and come back when I graduate. I'm graduating early, so I'll be done in January. I was just wondering what could go wrong in a situation like this. Could they possibly change their mind? Thanks.

That's the tricky part. Since I have one semester left, it's going to be off need basis as soon as I graduated. The partner told me he would love to have me there and everything, but it depends on if they needs more people. Wish I could fast forward to January.

Recruit for other places. Biggest downside of waiting is them reneging on you if market slows down and you graduate without a job. Try to win as many offers as possible and tell the boutique "here are the offers I have, either you provide something in writing now or I sign elsewhere". Might seem harsh but honestly you will put yourself in a very bad position if you don't sign. This comes from seeing friends who were promised verbal offers but got reneged last minute.

A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush.

At this stage, you have no birds, no bush, possibly no hands.

Go get some interviews.

Those who can, do. Those who can't, post threads about how to do it on WSO.
