Recruiter or Headhunter
Has anyone had any luck using a recruiter or headhunter to land any IBank Interviews? If so, would you share who you used, a little about the experience, and would you recommend them to others? Thanks

Been a Financial Advisor for a couple years, but figure that will not help at all. Even not counting the experience as worth anything, I still feel I am qualified for most Analyst positions, I am just a couple years out of school.
Headhunters might be more motivated to get you the highest-paying job possible because their fee is 1 years salary (the firm pays this).
HH fee's are more like 1/3 of base salary (not incl. bonus).
most HH's will not be of help if you dont have prior skills that can be applied in IB. if I was you id start networking big time
anyone have names of people they had luck with? [email protected]
You can look up headhunters/ recruiters online - try google. search terms: jobs, investment banking

a hh resume better be better than otherwise since the firm has to pay for the talent. wont take a flyer on a longshot.
