Do bank's recruiters respond at all to applicants who reach out directly or will they just ignore and refer you to a posting. I assume they won't talk to you, even internally they have been pretty much useless from an applicant standpoint. Wondering what other peoples experience has been.

What do you want them to do? They have a whole process setup for hiring people which includes resume screens, interviews, etc. What are you reaching out to them for? Networking with a recruiter won’t do anything.
