Recruiting for London IB/Consulting as an American University Graduate?

How feasible would it be to receive a London IB or Consulting offer for Full Time as a graduating university student from America (assuming that I received a referral for the position, go to a Top 30 US University, am properly qualified, and speak English natively)? How often do companies sponsor, if at all? Would I have to be far superior in the interview process relative to the UK native candidates to have a chance? If anyone has any info or has done this move themselves, I would greatly appreciate your thoughts!
