Recruiting full time IB after interning on buy side year before
How hard would it be to recruit full time for investment banking offers if you interned the summer before on the buy side at a very reputable firm (say for example at a MF but not in PE, maybe something like Blackstone Strategic Partners, KKR Credit, Carlyle Credit, etc). Thanks in advance

Not impossible but certainly harder than SA (very few spots + preference for interns and those who did IB elsewhere). If you network a lot and have a good answer for why IB you should be in the mix.
That said, if the MF gives FT offers I would just forget about banking and do that
I know a kid who did SA at blackstone (in something like credit) and ended up at PJT RX. So yea, definitely possible.
