I just finished my first semester as a Sophomore at a target school. As a Sophomore, I'm not sure what I'm absolutely interested in, but personal research has led me towards equity research, Asset Management, hedge funds, and possibly consulting. Now that I have a GPA, I was just wondering what I should do to prepare myself for next year when recruiting really kicks up for Juniors.
check your impact calendar for corporate events and make sure you attend - you can: 1. learn how junior students talk to recruiters/representatives; and 2. meet recruiters (as they are probably the ones coming back next year).
