Recruiting while interning
Hello WSO community, I have been reading through some of the posts over the years and I really enjoy some of the content that you all provide. Today I have a question about recruiting. I am currently working at an investment bank and I like the people around here, and the work is decent. However, I would like to send in an application where the deadline for it is before I finish my current internship. There is a decent chance that I will get a return offer at the current place I work at, and I would not want to jeopardize this. I would appreciate some advice on whether it would be risky to apply to the other opportunity, since if the HR departments talked, the place I am currently at would know that I am looking at other places and they may not give me a return offer.
