I often hear about people saying "Yea but isn't open recruitment already over" and such.
How does all this work? Where does recruiting happen?
I'm graduating in May, and want to start looking for Jobs in May, June July, August, et cetera. I want to be in NYC, and will wait until I at least have an internship with possibility of job before I want to move. How do I participate in recruitment for these firms?
When does recruitment for something like May graduates start? Just any help would be greatly appreciated.
Firms recruit in the Fall for people graduating in May, start looking at MM shops because they generally recruit a little later, but still will finish up by Dec-Jan.
LOL, you've missed the boat mate. recruiting doesn't come to you, unless you're at a target. You go to them.

It sucks being from a school that absolutely isn't a target, but I do think I have a good chance at doing well in recruitments.
How do I even find out who to look for? MM places, where would I go to find out who is who? It sucks I've had absolutely no career help and am graduating soon, had no idea they did recruitment so early.
Just any websites or ideas of where to go next would be really appreciated, thanks a lot guys.
How about which place is best to subscribe to for job postings?
Doostang, efinancial, WSO, somewhere else?
I don't have a bunch to spare, but if I should be applying for them right now then I guess I need to get a subscription to one or two of these.
Get on linkedin, and starting talking to alumni that work at companies you would want to work for...Listen to what they have to say. Ask them what they did to get to where they are today. Best of Luck mate
