Reneging
I'm planning on reneging on an offer that I accepted 6 months ago. I don't really like the company and there are other personal reasons for my decision. Do you think that they would retaliate in some way (spread the word to other employers / my university, etc) if I renege, especially given that I'm reneging half a year later? Or do you guys think that they probably wouldn't care and would just let it slip by?
Any insights on this would be appreciated. Thanks.
