Reneging Big4 Advisory for US Marine Corps
Long story short, an NYC BIG 4 offered a summer internship after I interned with them last summer with a signing deadline in September and after having a great summer with them I, without hesitation, signed the offer. Fast forward to November and a student turned terrorist runs over students at my university with his car and attacks them with a butcher knife all in the name of ISIS. I then began researching careers in national security, military, etc and last week was accepted to go to Officer Candidate School for the United States Marine Corps this summer. I loved my time and the people at the Big 4 and really don't want to burn a bridge but am afraid I have given myself no choice. Am going to call my Big 4 recruiter (never met nor never spoken with) later today but any words of advice for handling this delicate situation?
I'd love to hear a recruiter try and give you shit for joining the military. Thanks for the service.

some people don't offer an explanation when they reneg. if you are worried about it, offer this reasoning as to why. F500 companies love to support the troops and if they give you any shit, then F them - you shouldn't work there anyways.
