Resume Review: Welcoming All Criticism

Sending out applications to junior roles in :

Management Consulting

Equity Research Associate

IB TMT Analyst

VC

PE

Need some help with my resume, looking for some solid feedback. Graduated from a non target, large state school, BS Econ. No prior internships or work experience relevant to the fields mentioned above, except consulting to some extent. Co-founded/ Directed two startups, raised seed funding for one(plenty media and press). Acting role was more inclined towards "Director." I have now step aside completely in order to peruse and focus on a career in one of the industries mentioned above. I had a previous resume with a media mentions section that listed the source and web link to the articles. I have deleted that, added a bullet point under that startups section and said "Featured in xyz, xyz, xyz" thanks to broadstbully for the tip. I have also reduced the amount of bullet points from my previous cv/resume which helped get the CV to a single page rather than two. Appreciate all the feedback.

I would look into taking out some of the bullet points from your high school jobs. Formatting and content generally look very strong.

Yes your AT&T experience. It is from awhile back so maybe shorten it up to two bullet points. Your don't want it to have equal weight for your more recent accomplishments.

hahaha no, born and raised in DC. I have not checked it for any grammatical errors just yet, but are you referring to the bullet points or the title of the sections?

As you can see, I've written a short description underneath the first two companies because they are startups. Would this be an issue?

Your GPA needs to be on there, because it's still important at this point in your career and you're at a non-target. If not, they'll think it sucks. Axe the relevant course work and capstone class project stuff. Every school has that stuff, no one will care. Have you not done any philanthropy stuff?

P.S. Bodybuilding made me chuckle :D
