Return Offer, advice needed

Not looking for spam but some real advice on if this scenario has ever happened or what to do.

I am a CIB SA at a BB bank, because the bank I am at recruits as CIB SA I was picked to be in more of the CB side during placement. I have been exceeding goals and performing well, although have also spent time during this summer with the IB side as well. I am liking the IB side quite a bit more, and my question is if I do receive a FT offer for CB I do not want to be stuck on that side for 3 years. Any advice or experience on changing coverages or areas for return offer, is it even possible?

I love my current role but definitely enjoyed my time in IB more.
