Will be brief. You have good grades, decent educational background. Start your "working non-stop" now by networking, reading the networking threads here, as well as the SA 2018 threads. I see no serious reason why you can't make it work with a lot of determination. And networking, lots of it .

I don't honestly know- thats why I recommend checking the 2018 SA thread for details. At my shop we hire for 2018 in the spring- around March so not too late where I work.
