Rising Sophomore Internships?
Does anyone know of what a rising sophomore could do between fr/soph year? I'd hate to waste the summer or work another year at an unrelated minimum wage spot, even though firms and such seem to be only open to rising juniors and above. (summer 2021)
Some regional shops might need help with extra work. Cold email regional shops, network, and ask your career center and alumni.

If you can't find experience, you could add education (summer classes) or volunteering, or maybe even serving on a non-profit board.
Yes that’s an interesting point. I think I’ll look into some things like that as plan b.
