S & T to IB - Is It Possible?

Hi everyone,

I'm a rising senior currently interning as a SA at a top BB (GS/MS/JPM) in S & T. I've enjoyed learning the ropes so far, but after having an earlier internship at a small IB and speaking with some alums at the firm, I've started to think that I might want to pursue investment banking instead.

Do you think it would be possible to internally move to the investment banking division before I start full time? Or is it better to instead apply to other banks for a FT position in banking? Any advice would be much appreciated!
