SA looking to recruit for FT

Hi all,

I landed a summer IB internship at a pretty good firm, and I'm just starting my internship now but looking to potentially recruit for FT.  I looked at previous posts and it seems like getting in touch with contacts you've talked to previously at different banks over the summer is a good start, but I was wondering how I should phrase my emails or reach out to them? I don't know if I should reach out now as I'm just beginning the internship or send them updates throughout the summer? I assume they'd know what I'm going for but also don't want to give them the wrong impression...thanks so much!
