I have been preparing my career for a few years, I was just wondering to get some feedback regarding when should I apply for the 2021 IB cycle from people that have applied other years.

For the class of 2021, you'd want a summer 2020 internship. That recruiting happens 12-16 months in advance. Right now recruiting is for summer 2021, targeting those graduating in 2022.

Hard to give any more advice without information on your school, GPA or previous internships
