Screwed over by my Summer Internship

I finished up my IB Summer in August and received good feedback from both junior and senior colleagues. I had been given verbal offers from them as well, so I assumed I was in a good spot. We didn't get offers at the end of the internship but we were told it would take a while - so I still re-recruited throughout the last few months. However, I haven't had much success, barely even getting interviews. I didn't apply to some lower-tier jobs just because I thought I was secure - yet today I got an email stating that I wouldn't get a return offer.

What do I do? Feeling pretty fucked.
