Search fund I’m interning at is about to buy a company, how good is this for my resume?
I’ve been interning at a search fund for about 10 weeks so far and it’s been a great experience. It’s been really hands on with industry research and modeling. Recently, I got news that the fund is entering the diligence stage for this company that they just signed the LOI on. It’s looking likely that they will be going forward with this one.
Essentially I’m just trying to gauge how good it is for my resume if I am exposed to a deal like this from beginning to close, and what I should put down on said resume if it goes through.
Also, what kinds of internships should I think about trying to swing after this? Looking to work towards IB.
