Search fund internship worth it?

Starting my freshman year at a semi-target next week, aiming for IB. I heard search fund internships look great for underclassmen so I applied to a bunch and received an offer from one. It seems pretty legit but the Principals don't have a traditional IB/MBA background so I'm not sure how useful it will be. They've also just started the search this week. The work is the usual search fund stuff - data scraping, deal sourcing, lists, due diligence, and the time commitment is 15-20 hrs/week. I need to respond by Friday.

I also progressed to the interview stage at another fund run by a guy with a more prestigious background (EB IB, HBS). Not sure if I should hold out for him or just sign my current offer.
