Second email

Hi I've compiled a list of alum who I sent emails to but didn't respond. I'm about to email them again and I was wondering what should be in the email? Should it be the original content like

Hi my name is XXX rising senior majoring in finance interested in ibanking etccc..

Or should it be something more like this

Dear XXX

Hows it going? I emailed you a few weeks ago about me getting some information about investment banking from your perspective. I understand your a busy person and all, but I only ask for five minutes of your time. So if you could get back to me when have a few minutes to spare I would greatly appreciate that..

Any advice? thanks

IMO that is a little too casual. Assuming your original note said something along the lines of "would like to schedule a call of coffee meeting", I would recommend saying:

Mr. Banker,

I am following up on my note to schedule a convenient time for a brief phone call or coffee meeting. Please let me know what works best for you. Thanks and I look forward to our conversation.

Thanks,

TheKid1
