Seeking Career Advice

I am having difficulty in seeking a job in the financial industry.

background: Cambridge math third year, ranked top 10. Three previous internships, from audit to equity research to private equity. I have found it really hard to get a 2024 summer internship position. And I don't know what I can do to improve the situation. The thing is, the probability of passing an online test is so low. And I don't think there is really feasible to say something that makes me stands out for questions like why ib?why this company?

I am thinking about doing a Master in Finance to give me more time for seeking jobs. But I feel like it might be more difficult to get a position next year. Is this a good idea?

Is there any other sector recommended? I also applied for hedge funds as well. However, since I didn't have much programming experience (before this summer, I am only preparing for traditional finance sector), I don't feel I can get into any of them. High salary is a must  for my career plan, because due to the awful one child policy in China, I will be responsible for 7 family member's retired life.(My parents and their parents, also my mother's sister who didn't get married and have children) But at this stage, the good news is that I don't really care any factor other than salary. I don't mind work overtime or taught myself programming or any other progress.

Thank you for your time and advice!
