Seeking MBA summer internship late in the process

I am a first-year student at a T10 MBA school. I have been actively pursuing summer internship opportunities in the HF/AM field (equity research) and have reached the final interview stage with a few firms, including a highly sought-after HF. Unfortunately, I was unable to secure an internship position. As the summer recruiting season is now in its late stage, I find myself in a desperate situation.

Currently, there are no job postings available for summer interns in HF/AM. Consequently, I believe it would be beneficial to seek an unpaid internship at a boutique firm or a family office to gain valuable experience during the summer. My question is: how should I go about finding firms that might be interested in accepting an unpaid summer intern?
