Shaking hands in coffee chats?

I am about to do my first coffee chat ever next week. I know that pre-covid everyone shakes hands when they meet, and no handshakes for the past year, but what about now after the vaccines? Do bankers still prefer to stay 6 feet away from each other all the time even after vaccination? I mean I don't really care about handshakes but I also don't want to make myself a fool when I reach out my hand and the guy refuses, or if he is expecting a handshake but I do nothing. Thanks!
