Should I accept and renege an offer?

I received a MM IBD offer in NYC, another MM IBD offer in SF. The one in NYC is due tmr, and I asked for extension but was rejected. Long term I really want to go into VC so I'm leaning towards working in SF. I have multiple BB/EB interviews for both NYC and SF coming up, and they would be finished before my MM offer in SF expires. I just don't know if I should accept the MM offer in NYC and renege it later on because I would want to take an SF offer over it and I'll be recruiting for vc later this year.

This question doesn't really make sense. You have two offers. Why not just pick the one you like the best of the two and keep recruiting, and if you get something even better than the offer you signed, renege then?

You're acting like you would want to be in a spot where you could double-renege. Renege on NY for SF and then recruit some more and potentially renege again.

I'm hesitant because the MM offer in NYC has a really chill culture and the one in SF is quite sweaty and a lot of juniors are trying to lateral out. I'm only going to take one from the two but I just don't know which one I should choose.
