Should I apply to 2024 SA openings?

I will be a senior next year in undergrad, but am fairly sure that I will grad transfer and do a 1-year masters program afterward. This won’t be finalized until later this year, so should I apply to SA 24 positions now (as I would have next summer before masters program)? Or would I not be considered since my status for the summer is uncertain?

My question really is whether I would be considered given that I haven’t formally committed to a school or program. In their eyes, they might think I’ll decide against it/won’t get in/etc, and maybe not end up in a masters program, so I’m not what they’re looking for

Basically, is specifying on my resume that I’m planning to do an extra year of school enough to be batched in with SA24

Yes just claim that you are doing it. No one asks questions and the only thing you have to get through is a background check. Third party agents will just try to confirm if you truly did attend the schools you listed on your resume and call your past employers to verify your work sates. Thats it

Yea I have no interest in flexing or anything like that. Just know that by the time I have everything figured out, SA openings will have been long filled. Feels like there’s a fine line between “lying” about undergrad 2025 and writing my intentions, but have to get around the auto-ding above all I guess.

Doesn’t feel entirely right to write undergrad 2025, but obv get dinged without it most likely. Best to maybe write undergrad 2025 and a note below very quickly explaining situation? Won’t be picked up by screeners but a person reading might see
