Should I contact the HR?

Hello guys,

Let me explain my situation. I applied for an internship at a bank around December. Last month I got a call from the head of HR asking me when exactly my school semester ends and if I can be available to start the internship in June. She said they're making a final shortlist and that I should be expecting more info regarding my interview within 2 weeks/end of the month. This was mid March and I haven't heard back since. \

Should I email her to ask if theres any updates? (I don't have her email but I know her name and can deduce that by firstname.lastname@company) I'm really interested in this specific internship opportunity and I feel that I should email to ask for updates and showing my enthusiasm for the opportunity to intern at the firm. What do you think I should do?
