Should I even be seeking an internship?

Background: non-target undergrad Econ, 1 year work exp. in finance at government contractor, current MSF student, 2 internships during undergrad at insurance sales and PWM

I am getting ready to graduate from my MSF program come August. I have an interview with Bloomberg for a weeklong internship during the summer and I'm wondering if this would even enhance my skill set or look strange above my 1 year work experience on my résumé.

I am seeking jobs in credit analysis and equity research come grauduation. Would it just look better if I start writing some articles on SeekingAlpha for experience?

I never understood the one week internships. No idea what you can truly do in that time period. You could list it on your resume though! Instead of putting the date, write summer of 2014.
