Should I Get a Master's Degree?

Hi, all.

Gonna admit, haven't had shit for luck regarding the job search so far. Been out of school since May and admittedly took some time just to travel to get away from all the noise. Came back and started applying for entry-level analyst roles (financial analyst, operations analyst, business analyst, IB being the dream but obviously not going to happen) right away - Don't get me wrong, I've been applying out the ass since the end of junior year for stuff. I've applied to over 400 positions and networked myself to death in college but nothing has come through. Have some interviews and such but not with roles I'm wow'ed about. Still, they're junior level roles that might be leveraged to something worth talking about.

Curious if I need to get a damn Master's Degree in finance and/or accounting to show interviewers I'm worth something/get this ball rolling. Experience on resume is mainly entrepreneurial (successful side business) and direct client building (financial representative internship on resume during college) with technical side being more learned/academic (WallStreetPrep, corporate finance and accounting courses on resume). It seems that interviewers would like that to be flipped, but here's a funny thought, I can't get the experience unless I'm given the fucking job.

Background: Went to non-target NC school, got B.S. in Econ, 3.33 overall GPA, 3.43 major GPA, self-financed weekend trips to NYC to meet with IB guys so I have the damn self-starting initiative everyone wants, but I still can't seem to land anything significant.

This being said, would you recommend going for UNC/UVA/UNCC level schools or even throw in a "why not?" draw like Yale or something obivously out of reach, but something to amuse myself over?

Thanks.
