Should I let my contacts or mentors know that I failed to get any summer offers for next year and plan on delaying graduation?

I interviewed at two bulge brackets but I did not get any offers and I interviewed late for a couple other known boutiques. I was not able to get any offers, so I am planning on delaying graduation to have another shot. Should I let the contacts that I gained from this previous recruiting cycle know of my failures and would it help me if I wanted to recruit again down the line?
