Should I use my internship for another internship?
Hey everyone,
My situation is that this summer I will be interning at a lower ranked middle market IB. My goal is to get into one of the top 3 BB. So my dilemma is, assuming I get the FT offer, do I take it and graduate after my internship? Or do I delay my grad and potentially try to leverage this experience on my resume in order to try to get an internship at a BB for the following summer?
What tier of LMM Bank? Are we talking on the tier of like Stifel/Oppenheimer/Truist? Personally, I wouldn't just because it's just a waste of a semester or even a year. I've seen plenty of analysts lateral from the above mentioned banks.
