Should you still take a job interview seriously if you are overqualified for the position?
Should you still respect the interview if you are interviewing for a job that you are overqualified for? And the recruiter have the nerve to ask: "Why should we hire you?"
If you think you are over qualified for the position, why are you even there ?
Unless you're currently unemployed or extremely underemployed, you shouldn't even be interviewing for a role for which you think you're that overqualified. You're wasting your time and the company's time, and taking away an interview from someone who might actually be interested and need the job
