SIG Trading Non-Compete
Does anyone know if you have to sign a 3 year non-compete in order to do the trading internship at SIG? Or do they only make you sign it when you start working full time?

I don't know the answer, but it seems like that wouldn't make sense for an intern to have to sign a non-compete.
I did two 6-month co-op (full-time) rotations during college for SIG and did not have to sign a non-compete, nor did I hear of anyone doing other types of internships from other colleges. I was working on their trading desks as well (option mkt making & fixed income).
Even PM's of large funds rarely have to sign 3 year non-competes....you will never have to do that as an intern.
ive never heard of a 3 year non compete? ive heard of 6 months max. Can you imagine, 3 yrs paid haha
