Signed expired offer, does it count?

I have offer expired in certain day at 5:00PM.  I requested extension. The HR called me give me 24 hours extension. But the second day I signed it after 5:00PM, it was passed a couple hours. Does this count accept offer in my side, does this count the position is still there in Bank? I only received reception acknowledge email when submitted. From that time, the bank never came back to me with any email or confirmation about the position. Does everyone meet such situation? If bank a few months later tell me I actually don't have such spot, it is total fine, right?  Thank you for your any advice and input.

From what I understand in your post, you signed and submitted an employment contract after the deadline passed and you have never heard from the HR team ever again?
Did you email them or call them?

When was this anyway?

Yes, I never heard from them, nobody ever contacted me after it. It is over one month. I start feel doubt if they count it or not? What's the normal process after people sign? If it is expired, why it is still allow people sign. It is not employment contract but a job offer letter. This is very confused.

It is not good! I think I calculated the time wrong. Offer letter is 5PM, get verbal extension is after 5PM. If use letter's hour as cutoff, it definitely expired. I wonder how restrict they count the clock. Also is the verbal extension counted? It is very confused.

Another concern is because letter indicated "Employment at will" for both sides, even they said "Yes" while I call, they still can cancel any time, right?  If they already don't like me due to miss the timeline, I feel insecure even to know I am still in.

What should I do now, what should I say when I call? Thanks for all you suggestion and advice.
