smaller/midmarket NYC area IB

I have an Honors degree undergrad in Biology (3.77 GPA)  from a smaller  college. I have some short experience in an investment sales Brokerage (multi-family Real estate) and a internship at a small Hedge Fund (500M- 1B AUM). I was advised that I Have a  shot at a regional bank. Ultimately Id like to work at  a mid market  PE shop. Any thoughts about where and how to apply or anything helpful. I graduate in January.

Thanks.
